INSTALLATION & QUICKSTART

Deploy the TrustNode Core engine inside your own infrastructure and execute your first security assessment.

TrustNode is a self-hosted security assessment platform that runs inside the user's environment. Follow this complete flow to install the engine, verify its status, and generate your first vulnerability report.

INSTALL

Run the installation script in your terminal to initialize the local environment.

Windows (PowerShell)

PowerShell
irm https://trustnode.in/install.ps1 | iex

macOS / Linux (Bash)

Bash
curl -fsSL https://trustnode.in/install.sh | bash

VERIFY INSTALLATION & CHECK STATUS

Once the download completes, verify that the TrustNode service is running properly and check the application status.

CLI
trustnode status

If you experience any connectivity issues, run trustnode doctor to diagnose authentication and environment misconfigurations.

CONFIGURE REPOSITORY

List available authorized repositories in your environment or check connected sources.

CLI
trustnode repositories

RUN SCAN & CHECK STATUS

Once your repository is accessible, initiate an asynchronous security assessment.

CLI
trustnode scan https://github.com/organization/repo.git

The command will output a <scan-id>. You can check the current progress of the scan using the status action:

CLI
trustnode scan status <scan-id>

INSPECT FINDINGS

When the scan completes, you can list the discovered vulnerabilities and view evidence paths.

CLI
trustnode findings --scan=<scan-id>

GENERATE & DOWNLOAD REPORT

Generate a comprehensive security report artifact. First, request the report generation:

CLI
trustnode report <scan-id>

Verify that the report generation is complete:

CLI
trustnode report status <scan-id>

Finally, download the report to your local machine:

CLI
trustnode report download <scan-id> --output=report.pdf
